HRA News Agency: Khuzestan ,branch 13Th, court of appeal has sentenced Abolfazl Abedini to 11 years of peremptory confinement.

According to HRANA reporters, Branch 13 Appeal Court of Khuzestan has confirmed the previous sentence that was issued by Branch 1 Ahwaz Revolutionary Court.

In an interview with Abedini Family, they revealed that the grace period to present the appeal to the sentence issued by Branch 1 ,Ahwaz revolutionary court is three weeks. His attorney has the writ of appeal ready, but never given a chance to present it to the appeal court.

Abolfazl Abedini Nasr, after the premeditated attack from the government security agency, against human rights activists,had been arrested in his family home, at Ramhormoz,on March 3/2010 . He was brutally assaulted and beaten while arrest and was later transferred to Evin prison section 2A.

In addition, Abedini’s attorney, Mohammad Olyaiefard, is confined in section 350 Evin prison to finish his one year sentence.
