HRA News Agency: On August 16, 2010, Abolfazl Abedini Nasr, journalist and former member of Human Rights Activists in Iran, was banned from ingress and egress from the joint that he is jailed until further notice.

According to HRANA, this order that has been issued by the warden (the head of Karoon Ahwaz prison) to all of the staff, and created acute difficulties for Abolfazl Abedini.

This ban is enforced at the time that this political prisoner has to go to the prison clinic to receive his cardiac medication once every three days.

Mr. Abedini has been facing various harsh treatment and pressure since his arrival to Karoon Ahwaz prison. Being illegally banned to call, denied his visitation rights, and banned to ingress and egress are examples of these pressures.
