Hojat Kalashi and Milad Dehghan, Two Pan Iranist Members Were Arrested in Ahwaz
Human Rights House of Iran, RAHANA: This morning, Hojat Kalashi the leader of the Pan Iranist Party Youth Organization and Milad Dehghan, a party member were arrested in Ahwaz.
On Friday, January 20,2011, shortly after the crowed was gathered at Dr. Ebrahim Mirani’s grave, the former leader of Pan Iranist Party, Khuzestan establishments, to honor his first demise, the security forces raided the congregation and started to insult and threaten mass arrest. In the midst of the growl and intimidation Hojat Kalashi and Milad Dehghan were arrested and transferred to unknown place.
According to RAHANA, Human Rights House of Iran, last year during Dr. Mirani’s burial, the authorities raided and searched his house, They summoned ,interrogated ,and threatened his brother, Esmaeil Mirani. Hojat Kalashi, the leader of the Pan Iranist Party Youth Organization, has a Masters in political science and had been sent to exile in Khash for his military service. He was arrested two weeks ago at Reza Kermani’s house along with Arash Kaykhosravi and Shahin Zeinali. A few months ago, he was also arrested in Isfahan along with Hossein Shahriari and Reza Kermani and indicted on the charges of acting against national security and anti-regime propaganda.
The pressure on the Pan Iranist activists is continued. Abolfazl Abedini and Shahin Zeinali are imprisoned in Evin, Hossein Shahriari is confined in Rajaiee Shahr Prison, and Reza Kermani detained in security ward of Rajaiee Shahr Prison.
