HRANA News: This morning, April 28/2010, mother of Abolfazl Abedini Nasr , the independent journalist and former human rights activist, had a short visit with him for the first time .

According to HRANA, his mother has assessed his health in a fair condition, after their residence was raided by the security forces and he was brutally beaten and arrested on MArch3/2010 .

After her visit, the mother of this human rights activist went to the District Attorney’s office and demanded his immediate release from Evin base on his innocence.

Mr. Abedini has been sentenced to 11 years confinement by branch one of Ahvaz Revolutionary Court.
