HRA News Agency: The deputy warden of Karoon Ahwaz prison denied Abolfazl Abedini, journalist and human rights activist, to have visitation for 2 more weeks.

According to HRANA reporters: Last night, Karoon Ahwaz Deputy warden (where Abolfazl is confined) announced that he is not allowed to have any family visitation for two more weeks, after his family’s demand.

This is the continuation of visiting restriction since last week, when he was banned to visit with his mother.

Needless to say, there has not been any reason given by the warden as why he has denied his rights.

Abolfazl Abedini is serving an 11 year sentence and was allowed to visit with his family through the cabin. He immensely suffers from cardiac disease, and his Request to Leave Prison has been denied twice before.
